March 2013

We had the craziest weather in March this year. We started out cold so there was a lot of playing inside and baking!
Playdough is a favorite cold day activity

baking bread with mommy

our washer and dryer went out (yes the less than 3 year old washer and dryer...grrr complete with a slimy sticky black goo...) so we got a new front loader. Caleb loves that he can see himself in it and talks to himself often. He also likes that he can 'help' mommy by putting all the clothes in and pushing buttons.

We built lots of forts, the kids favorite was the under the table fort.
Here we were making peanut butter bars and we all had to try to peanut butter to make sure it was good

'nummy peebutter mommy, i WOV it'

even Bailee had to try it out to make sure it was good. Yep im pretty sure she liked it too.

Then heard a crash and found that Caleb had dumped all his trains out of the box and was using it to play in...

Daddy daughter date night at Chick fil a
Madison insisted that she dress up for the evening.

SOOOOOO excited. Daddy works a lot so she absolutely loves these nights where she gets to go out with him and have him all to herself.

Daddy date night was warm and nice, these next picture were taken over the course of exactly 10 days. I told you the weather was CRAZY!!

Caleb and daddy enjoying the warmth while mommy and madi shovel snow...

Madi started throwing snow at the windows so caleb wouldn't feel left out

They both thought it was great and had fun

yep thats a lot of snow...

When mommy was finished shoveling the kids decided they still wanted to play.... I'm not a huge fan of being wet and cold so the deck came in handy again and we bundled up and sent the kids outside. This time Caleb had to throw snow at me through the window. Again hysterical laughter insues.

Madi made a snow angel and caleb had to try as well only his version consisted of a butt shake and rolling... it was an interesting angel to say the least..

after naps caleb came up to me like this stating that he was ready to go out again... hum i don't think so...
and then as quick as it came and piled up it was gone and the weather was nice enough to go to the zoo (in shorts...)
waiting for the train

proof that I do exist!
see there is a little melting snow and ice!

caleb was being a monkey
St Patricks day we had some very tricky little people come in and make everything green.
it started with our pancakes at breakfast...

my little helpers washing the green off the wall...

Caleb has learned that he can put shoes on himself. This day he chose sissy's boot and mommys shoe...

whatever works i guess...

the model walk...

another table fort on a cold day!
