New obsession

To say Caleb likes his new toy is a bit of an understatement...

Grandma Kathy got this and he LOVES it!!

This little yellow ball is inside all these little cups...

It rattles and jingles...

and when it's thrown...

It gets lost under the bench...

"baa, ma baa, ma baa???"

oh man balls gone...

yes this happens EVERY day!

2 little buggers they just look like they are playing together...really they are teasing the dog because she can't come inside and the kids can't go out. (this was before the deck)

Helping mommy

I have been trying to get Madison to help better around the house. Today we were learning unloading the dish washer and put the dishes away... Madison was a great helper

Caleb not so much...

After this photo I asked Madi if the dishwasher was all empty she said "yes mommy except we have a washer monster...

...On the new deck!! It isn't quiet finished yet but with daddy out of town we decided that it would be fun to eat dinner outside. The kiddos love the new freedom that they have outside and I love her new freedom as well! It's a win win!!

Summer Time

Summer is right around the corner and the kids can't wait to get out. Madi is dying to learn how to ride her bike (we haven't been sucessful) and Caleb has been dying to get on the bike as well! Oh well for now he will have to settle the wagon.

Strawberry Jam

We are getting into my fav. time of year! fresh fruit and veggies which means canning, canning, and more canning! Madison is helping me this year and we are starting out with strawberries. Joe has never had freezer jam so I thought we would try it out. It turned out great! Joe loves it, madi and I had so much fun making it together,and we will probably be doing it again! :)

Big Boy Bed

For Caleb's 14 month birthday we got him out of the crib and into his own big boy bed (really its just a mattress on the floor) He loves it! Caleb loves to be able to have freedom to play and sleep when he likes. He really is doing very well and so far has started sleeping through the night (which he wasn't doing before because he was always trying to get out of the crib) He also has started to play through out the night but were getting better at this...

And it only took 2 seconds for him to figure out how to get off.

I realized that I have never posted pictures of Caleb's room. It is pretty much the same as before only now there is no crib.

Caleb

Silly boy. At 15 months Caleb is growing up so fast. He now can understand yes and no question, says about 10 words and signs 4. I am happy that we are able to communicate better. He still isn't walking or standing but everything looks good they just think that he is either lazy or just content on how he gets around now.. either way i hope he starts walking soon cause he is way to heavy and my back needs a break. right now he is in the 65th percentile for height and 90th for weight (24 lbs).

A LOT!

The Land before time

My mom found the origonal Land before Time movie and we were so excited. Joe used to watch the movie while touching each puppet (the ones from pizza hut over 20 years ago.) Joe's mom brought the puppets to us a few months ago so we had a fun dinner movie night. And with out any help from us Madi sat and touched each puppet while they were talking in the movie. Like father, like daughter i guess!

Pretty as a princess

I love this girl! Madison is so smart and has such a sweet personality mixed in with some sour when you push her buttons. She has started to learn to read and loves her books. She also is super loud and loves to play with her brother and her friends. She loves to go to primary and sing songs at church. I am heading up our sumer play group so I am sure that we will have a lot of fun adventures to come.

Cowgirl ready for church

I love Madison's understanding of Jesus and how he can help her. I came in her room one morning to find her picture of Jesus on her pillow. She said that Jesus was helping her sleep because she had a bad dream.

Hockey time!

Joe is playing hockey yet again and the kids are soooooo excited about this! We got all of daddy's hockey gear out and ready for the big game. Joe is doing a lot better this season and we are having fun watching him play. Thursday have gotten crazier but we are having fun!

If daddy has his way this kid will be the future hockey MVP

While this little princess will not be playing hockey anytime soon (you can see her sad face) She will start ice skating lessons in the fall.

Easter time

Easter morning 2012 we can downstairs to find easter baskets with fun things inside!

However, Madison being smart like she is was so sad to see that there were no easter eggs with candy inside (as she believed there should be in an easter basket.)

Instead there was a note from the easter bunny stating that he was here with the eggs but that bailee the dog scared him and he lost all the eggs...(now the hunt begins)
