Silly siblings

My kids LOVE the limelight and they are ALWAYS competing for the spotlight.  They will stop at nothing to get eachother to laugh. Caleb now will always copy what Madi does and then the 2 of them will laugh hysterically at what ever the incident was.

Here Madi was putting Caleb "to bed" while they were playing house. (a favorite activity lately) He was willingly allowing her to take off his shoes and socks.

This is a grumpy night. I think the picture is hilariouse because they make the same faces and even their feet are alike.

I have no clue how this started but Madi will sit in the bathroom and they will pass books under the door all while screaming and laughing. They are crazy what can I say? But at least I know where they are and can make dinner in peace...

Again, really there isn't much to say about this. Caleb is just a goof, I really don't know where he learns these things. And of course Madi has to show her pizza as well. And yes they were eating pizza for breakfast! These kids will eat pizza for every meal every day of the week if I would let them.

This is also a common scene while eating at the table. Bailee drooling, staring, waiting for Caleb to feed her. (which he always does when shes around. I think he feels bad for her or something)

Happy Halloween

Halloween was a fun week long event this year, and it was Caleb who had the multiple costume changes not Madi! I had origionally decided that I would make cowgirl and cowboy costumes for the kids. Caleb had another idea while we were shopping one day when he found this adorable cow costume. With a "mommy moo peese, on moo peese!" I couldn't resist and he was a cow and a cowboy. They were both so cute but I think I like the cowboy costume the best. Our fun started at the zoo with their annual boo at the zoo. We came early this year so we could find parking and had so much fun trick r treating. It only took Caleb one stop to figure out that all he had to do was look cute and say tick treat and he would get extra candy.

At one point in time the cow fell behind and stopped until he found what he was looking for. A blue sucker!

Next we had dinner at the Chick fil a halloween party and the next day headed to the pumpkin patch. And why do you go to a pumpkin patch?? Well to ride the ponies of course! (at least thats what my kids think) This was Caleb's first ride so Madi was giving him pointers. I didn't know how he would do and I had no idea that he would be sooo excited. He chose his pony and proceeded to sing old mcdonald had a neigh neigh for the entire ride. He didn't want to get down when we were done but was content giving the horse a hug and saying bye bye to them all. It was ADORABLE!!

Oh yeah we looked at pumpkins to... But we didn't get any we were to distracted by the ponies

But as Madi said we had to get a pumpkin picture. (Caleb also learned the word pumpkin and became obessed)

Then Halloween eve we carved pumpkins with lys. And believe it or not we actually got to carve them this year! There were no tears about hurting pumpkins and Madi actually enjoyed herself.

And then we finally made it to halloween night and we trick r treating with our friends the Wheelers. I'm not a big Halloween person but it is fun to do things with the kids.

Madi

I can't believe this cowgirl is almost 4! Madi is growing up so fast I don't know where the time has gone. She absolutely loves school and is thriving. She knows more than her classmates so her teacher is working with her on writing her letters and words and being a leader to her friends. She loves to help with her friends and enjoys being the center of attention. She is still in love with horses and cowgirls (we are currently planning her rodeo birthday party) She is reading at about a 1st grade level and loves books. I can't get anything past her anymore and she reads and lets me know when I am wrong. She is a great sister and helper to me and her brother and absolutely loves life and everything it has to offer. Our favorite past time is sining in the car at the top of our lungs to just about any song that comes on the radio.

Caleb

This little guy has become quite the little mess maker. He is into EVERYTHING and will stop at nothing. He also is pretty good at cleaning up. He likes to mop the floors, unload the dishwasher, and load the washer. However he will only help if he gets to push the buttons! He also LOVES sports balls, cars, and trains. While he doesn't have as active of an imagination as Madi it is fun to watch him play cars, trains and monster destruction. He loves his bankie, his dog buser(buster) and pooto (Pluto). His favorite shows are mickey mouse clubhouse, little Einsteins, and jake and the neverland pirates. He can count to 10 with help from his sissy, sing the alaphabet, tinkle stars, and veggie tales. He also knows most of his upper and lowercase letters by sight. We love this little man and are having so much fun watching him grow.

Playdough

My kids love to play together and love to do anything that is creative and messy. Playdough is a favorite and is fun until Caleb starts eating it...

Pretty Faces

I love that both my kids have big blue eyes. And I will say that I love their pretty faces! Here was a fun little fall shoot before church (one good thing about 1pm church)

When cranky meets the bathtub

It was a typical night at the haynie household. I asked joe to start a bath for the kids while i finished some things up downstairs. Caleb was super crabby and didn't want to wait for me so he was screaming. I didn't know that Joe had already put Madi in the bath and he came down to help me finish (i think it was dishes) and let me know the water was ready. Next thing we hear is a thump, crying and laughing. I go running up stairs to find madison laughing hystarically and caleb soaked in the tub shoes and all... Needless to say he was not to happy about the clothes, diaper, and shoes but hey it was his OWN fault right??
