Great Grandma Nona

Madi loves going to visit Great-Grandma Nona and this time Caleb got to meet her for the first time. We are glad that she moved to Colorado awhile back so that we can see her more often.

We had the honor of having my grandpa (or grandpa grandpa to the kids) come visit for 3 weeks. We had so much fun and Madi loves her double papa (that is what she calls him)

Watching the BYU practice game at the pepsi center for March Madness

My Grandpa is a HUGE byu basketball fan so we were lucky enough to be able to go see them practice at the pepsi center before they started the tournment. It was a lot of fun for Madi to see her first basketball game and it was great to learn more about the players from my Grandpa. Him and Joe had a lot of fun watching the tournment games

Caleb 1 Month old

I know this post is late but at 1 month Caleb wasn't doing to much besides sleeping and eating. Madi loves to help feed him and loves to play with her brother. We also did a lot of fun things with visitors but I'll have more posts about that later.

To continue the tradition here is Caleb at 1 month with the cow. (Madi is 2 and 3months, she had to be in the pic to) I would put but a comparison pic of madi at this age but for some reason all my pics of her from 1-4 months are gone on my harddrive so you can just look back to a previous post.

His first cast. Caleb was born with a inverted left foot, They think it is part genetics (Madi and I are also very peigon toed) and part that he just had his foot stuck for 9 months because he was so big. So to fix it they casted his foot up to his thigh for 3 weeks. It pretty much made him completely miserable but it did help and now we just have little shoes for the next 6 weeks to keep it straight.

This was a much better solution, it worked like a charm!

Big boy! After we got him eating from a bottle the kid gained weight like crazy and was up to 11 lbs by month 1!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

The little cow! Our good friends at Chick-fil-a presented us with a welcome to the world Caleb party for all our friends and family. We can't thank them enough we had such a fun time!

I did a whole post about this stroller when I first got it but I'm goning to say it again, I LOVE IT!!! It has been great with both the kiddos

Singing and dancing have become Madi's favorite for some time, ususally she won't do it for the camera lately so I have to catch her on a good day!

Here is a little photo recap of what happened in the life of Madi (in no particular order) before things got crazy with the addition of Caleb!

A trip to the zoo! We made one last trip to the zoo with just mommy and madi with our friends the Millers. Madi made herself a peanut butter sandwhich cake with pretzel candles!

I have wonderful friends who threw me and Caleb a baby shower! We had a great time and got some super cute little boy cloths, now joe doesn't have to worry about him being dressed in pink.

2 Years old!

I can't believe how quickly the time goes. We didn't get a chance to get her 2 year pics taken so I decided to try to take some myself. She picked the cowgirl and pony theme and I think they turned out pretty well.

When we got the new tv for christmas the old one moved to our room. I didn't know if I would like a tv in the bedroom but Madi loves to watch tv on the bed. She has even given it the name of 'bed show'

I decided to give gymnactics a try with Madi and was sp happy to find a program that teaches 2 year olds. To say that Madi loved it would be quite an understatement. It is something that she looks forward to weekly and she really is improving her strength, listening and social skills. We have so much fun.

21 Inches long

He has a head full of hair and so far is doing great.

Like the rest of this pregnancy he came as a complete surprise as we had a c-section scheduled for March 1st and I actually ended up going into labor monday night and was able to have a sucessful VBAC! Madison absolutely loves her brother and has become very protective of him even to the point of telling mommy and daddy to stop hurting him when we change his diapers and he cries. She calles him 'Taleb" and sometime it comes out as tadpole which i think is cute. "my baby" and brother. She also has to know where he is at all times and loves to hold and hug him. After a little bout with Jaundice we are all home and doing well. I will post more pictures and a little update on whats been going on in Madi's life later.
