Pretty as a princess

I love this girl! Madison is so smart and has such a sweet personality mixed in with some sour when you push her buttons. She has started to learn to read and loves her books. She also is super loud and loves to play with her brother and her friends. She loves to go to primary and sing songs at church. I am heading up our sumer play group so I am sure that we will have a lot of fun adventures to come.

I love Madison's understanding of Jesus and how he can help her. I came in her room one morning to find her picture of Jesus on her pillow. She said that Jesus was helping her sleep because she had a bad dream.

Hockey time!

Joe is playing hockey yet again and the kids are soooooo excited about this! We got all of daddy's hockey gear out and ready for the big game. Joe is doing a lot better this season and we are having fun watching him play. Thursday have gotten crazier but we are having fun!

 If daddy has his way this kid will be the future hockey MVP

 While this little princess will not be playing hockey anytime soon (you can see her sad face) She will start ice skating lessons in the fall.

Easter time

Easter morning 2012 we can downstairs to find easter baskets with fun things inside!

However, Madison being smart like she is was so sad to see that there were no easter eggs with candy inside (as she believed there should be in an easter basket.)

 Instead there was a note from the easter bunny stating that he was here with the eggs but that bailee the dog scared him and he lost all the eggs...(now the hunt begins)

We finally got a new internet provider so I can now update our blog again and it won't take me hours and hours! :)

These pictures were taken back in march right after Caleb turned 1. This kid is amazing he is always smiling and happy and truely can brighten a room. I love you Caleb you are so sweet and are going to do great things in life!

13 months and trying to stand

We have had a few set back with Caleb lately. Around about a year he was great at pulling himself up to standing and was starting to cruze then one day he decided that he didn't want to do it anymore and no matter what wouldn't stand, walk or anything. I was getting concerned when his therapist (did i mention that I love her!) suggested some new braces for his feet that he would wear all the time instead of just at night. She was hoping that the braces would give him some stability and hopefully confidence. Well another set of braces and new shoes later I am happy to say that they are totally working!!! when he wears them he wants to walk and stand constently. I am so happy they are working and we are starting to make some progress again. It has been really hard for me this past year because I feel like I should be so grateful that he is happy and healthy and that this whole feet, leg issue is so small and petty but really its hard because he isn't perfect and yes i am loosing sleep but i'm sure we can continue to move forward now! :)

I turn my back for literally 1 minute...all i can say is this kid is lucky he is cute because he totally distroyed my coupon stack and everyone knows not to touch my coupon stack.....



Finally...

All I have to say is that it was totally worth all the money and time spent building this thing!!!
