How the kids help with yard work

This summer we tackled the yard...it has been a lot of work for the whole family...

Caleb keeps Bailee out of the way by dropping cookies or snacks on the swing-set

Caleb Keeps himself busy eating cookies from the pantry (notice the dog feet, she spends most of her days about 2 feet from caleb at all times...)

Caleb has learned how to open the panty door, find the box of cookies on the shelf, get himself a bowl, and then puts 2-3 cookies in it to eat. (he usually stops when the box is empty) I'm just proud that he gets the bowl and doesn't just dump them on the floor!

One night...

after we had finished the deck I looked outside to find these 2

It's moments like this that make me so grateful for my husband and kids

New obsession

To say Caleb likes his new toy is a bit of an understatement...

 Grandma Kathy got this and he LOVES it!!

 This little yellow ball is inside all these little cups...

It rattles and jingles...

 and when it's thrown...

It gets lost under the bench...

 "baa, ma baa, ma baa???"

oh man balls gone...

yes this happens EVERY day!

2 little buggers they just look like they are playing together...really they are teasing the dog because she can't come inside and the kids can't go out. (this was before the deck)

We love daddy

Not much more I have to say about this!

Helping mommy

I have been trying to get Madison to help better around the house. Today we were learning unloading the dish washer and put the dishes away... Madison was a great helper

Caleb not so much...

After this photo I asked Madi if the dishwasher was all empty she said "yes mommy except we have a washer monster...

A night out...

...On the new deck!! It isn't quiet finished yet but with daddy out of town we decided that it would be fun to eat dinner outside. The kiddos love the new freedom that they have outside and I love her new freedom as well! It's a win win!!
