Madi has been really interested in the temple lately and we were so excited to be able to take her. She had a lot of fun walking around the grounds and taking pictures how ever she didn't understand that she couldn't go inside. Some of my favorite conversations:
me: you can go into the temple when you are taller
madi: mommy will you pick me up
me: sure what do you want to see
madi: see mommy now i am taller can i go in now...
me: sorry but how about we go inside the visitors center
madi: ok lets do that first...
(there was another primary group there taking a tour, they invited us to go with them but caleb was grouchy and hot so we couldn't stay)
madi: look there is Jesus he says with his arms that he wants me to go to the temple
me: yes he does want you to go to the temple
madi: ok then Jesus says lets go now
me: I'm sorry but you have to wait till your older...
madi: can i just listen to the lady talk about the temple?
me: yes you can...
(she then sat there and listened to the whole thing, i was pretty amazed! we then had to head to deseret book to find some pictures of temples since she still didn't understand why she couldn't go in. it was cute though)
