Bath Time!

I have started giving both caleb and madi baths at the same time. It saves me a lot of hassle and saves water right??! This was the first time he was in the real bath, he has since gotten used to the idea and likes watching his sister splash and play.

I have been a total slacker but as of now my kids have been negleted for the morning and the blog is finally updated since Caleb was born. There are about 12 or 13 posts all with pictures and videos so just keep the older post button so that you can see it all! I promise it is all worth it!!!

Caleb's 2 months!

I can't believe our little guy is 2 months already! He had a great doctors apt. here are the stats

24 1/2 inches long 75%

12 lbs 13 oz 75%

and 75% for his headsize

They said he is looking great and is progressing well. His foot is getting better and hopefully we won't need any surgery to fix it so well just have to see.

Caleb is such a chill baby! he is finally on a little bit of a schedule and eats about every 3 hours and will sleep for 1 6 hour stretch!(not as great as madi but i'll take it) He also has started smiling and 'talking' a lot more. Madi loves to play with her brother and make him smile everyday. He also has learned who she is and will look around for her when she is in the room. Caleb is also starting to grab on to and bat at his toys and is getting really good at holding his head up.

Yes his hair is getting longer and longer. I want to cut it so that we can do something more than have it stick up straight but it is such a conversation started that I haven't brought myself to do it yet...

A trip to Utah

So this trip to Utah was a first and a last. It was a first for Caleb to go to Utah as well as a first road trip. The kids did great and we had a lot of fun with Grandma angee, as well as aunts and uncles. It was also a last trip because i no longer have any sisters in provo to go visit! Crystal and Scott moved to Houston right after scott graduated, so we helped them pack up and sent them on their way! There were only a few hiccups on the way one (my fault) ended up ok but really made me hate provo roads with their stupid ditches instead of gutters...(long story ask me and ill explain) but all in all we had good travel weather which I was very grateful for as we have had record mountain snowfall in the last few weeks and it was a great trip.

to break up the trip we stop in grand junction, it was great to rest and enjoy the indoor swimming pool. This was caleb's first time swimming!

I found a couple of my old blankets and gave the pink one to madi and the blue one to caleb. He loves his blankets and to be wrapped up so I was excited that he seems to enjoy this one so much!

Easter Celebrations

We had a wonderful easter celebration. First we started with a fun egg hunt at Aunt Marie's for Great grandma nona's birthday. We then had one for Madi at the house with Aunt Crystal and Uncle Scott!

Madi's 2nd hair cut! Yes i know she is already 2 and the fact that this is her 2nd haircut is kinda sad but her first one was such a bad experience we have been waiting to try this again. Her new favorite movie is Tangled and she decided that she wanted to cut her hair like repunzal so I took this new excitment and we literally ran to the hair salon. She was excited until it came time to actually cut her hair but 3 suckers and 1 grandma later we ended up with an adorable bob cut for the summer. Madi was happy that she was now repunzal and mom was happy that we now no longer needed to fight over the horrible tangles that she gets when she sleeps! :)
